Catholic Cemeteries are sacred places for remembrance and prayer. Just as we are brought to a sacred place, the Catholic Church, at the time of our birth to be baptized and enter into the Life of Christ, so too are we brought to another sacred place, a Catholic cemetery. At the time of our death to wait for the resurrection of the dead and the promise of eternal life that comes to us through life in Christ. Interment in a Catholic cemetery is a statement of our belief that everlasting life and our belief that at death life has changed, not ended.
The Stevens Point Catholic Cemetery Association provides burials for the Parishes of St. Bronislava, St. Joseph’s, St. Peters, St. Stephen’s and Holy Spirit Parish.
